The Marquette University women's tennis team signed international standout Olga Fischer to a National Letter of Intent during its late signing period announced Monday by head coach Jody Bronson.

The Marquette women's tennis team wrapped up the 2008 season on a high note by defeating No. 7 seed St. John's, 4-1, to claim fifth place in the BIG EAST Tournament Sunday. The Golden Eagles complete the season 14-13 overall to mark their first winning season since 2000.
