2005: George sat out the 2005 season with injury.

2004: George's sophomore campaign was a breakout year for the defender as she earned second team All C-USA honors. George was a vital part of Marquette's defense all season long as it was one of the finest in C-USA. George helped hold opponents only 83 shots and 38 shots on goal in 10 conference games. She also contributed to seven shutout wins. Starting all but one match, George's only score on the year was the game winner against Wis.-Milwaukee on Sept. 8. George also added assists against Wis.-Green Bay (Sept. 17), at Charlotte (Oct. 1), TCU (Oct. 15) and against Charlotte in the C-USA Tournament.

2003: After earning a redshirt in her first season, George became a valuable performer in the Marquette midfield. Starting in all but one match during the season, George proved to be an adept defensive performer and offensive threat. With two goals on the year, she was tied for second on the team for the season. She took her first career shot against USC (Sept. 5), and she took as many as three attempts against Houston (Sept. 21). It was later in the season that George found her scoring touch. She tallied a goal in a 2-0 win over Cincinnati (Oct. 10). After recording an assist against Louisville (Oct. 12) in the next match, George found the net again in a 3-2 win over Charlotte (Oct. 17). George also logged an assist against Saint Louis (Oct. 26). George was tied for sixth on the team with 17 shots on the season.

2002: George did not see any action in her freshman year as she was injured during the year, earning a redshirt.

At Catholic Memorial: George is a local product, who played at Catholic Memorial High School in Waukesha. A two-time first-team all-state and all-conference selection, George comes from a good soccer background. Catholic Memorial won conference championships in her final three seasons and she helped it win state titles in her sophomore and a junior seasons. She won four letters in soccer, despite missing much of her senior year with an ACL injury. She was a member of the Wisconsin ODP for five years and was on the regional team for two seasons. Her club team, the F.C. Milwaukee Nationals, won five state titles during her tenure.

Personal: Ashley Marie George was born March 24, 1984, in Milwaukee. Her parents are Roger and lone. Her sister, Samantha, is on the soccer team Wis.-Milwaukee. She is a human biology major.
