At St. Catherine's: A three-sport star, Angel played tennis, basketball and soccer, earning 10 high school letters. She played varsity soccer for three years, earning team captain status as a senior. She led her side in scoring and was nominated to the all-state team as a junior. She was selected all conference both her sophomore and junior years, leading the team in scoring as a sophomore. In basketball, she was a two time all-conference selection and she was a three time all-county performer in tennis. She played club for Racine Spartans. She was a national honor society member, a WIAA Scholar Athlete Award Winner and was on the honor roll for all four high school years.

Personal: Elizabeth Margaret Angel was born on September 23, 1984, in Racine, Wis.. She is the daughter of Dick and Jody Angel. She has three siblings, Quinn, Susan and Catherine. Quinn played golf at St. Norbert's College. She is a nursing major.
