Sophomore (2005-06) -- Gray turned in yet another great year as he recorded a scoring average of 74.41. With a career mark of 73.91 after two years, he is second on Marquette's all-time scoring average list behind Nathan Colson. After a decent fall, he came out in the spring and shot well in MU's first tournament, the Wexford Plantation. He finished 10th to lead MU. He had one other top-10 finish on the season, placing ninth at the BIG EAST/MAC Challenge. He shot a one-under, 215 to help Marquette to its second team title of the year. Freshman (2004-05) -- Gray had a sensational initial season, recording Marquette's best single season average at 73.48. He made a big splash in his collegiate debut, shooting three-under, 213 to finish fourth at the John Piper Intercollegiate. He shot a 65 in his first collegiate round. He led MU with a 15th place finish, shooting one-under, 215, at the the Xavier Invitational. He placed a season best second at the 49er collegiate classic, after finishing the tournament with a 68 and 69 to finish at seven-under, 209. He was also MU's to finisher at the St. Croix Collegiate Classic. A 26th place finish at the Conference USA Championships led him to a spot on the C-USA All-Freshman team. Prior to Marquette -- A four time letterwinner at Oshkosh West, Gray was all-conference each of his four seasons. He was captain each of those seasons and was a second-team all-state selection during his high school career. He led his team to a pair of state championship tournaments and qualified for state each of the four seasons he played. Personal -- Gray was born January 9, 1986, to Todd and Karen Gray in Tucson, Ariz. He has an older brother, John, and younger brother, Charlie. He is a communications major. Gray's Career Stats
