Freshman Danielle Martens (Lee's Summit, Mo.), who graduated a semester early from high school to enroll at Marquette University, was named a Top-75 recruit in the nation by SoccerBuzz. The magazine recently announced the nation's top 150 recruits in its annual ranking of elite players.

Senior women's soccer player Allison Mallams earned a spot on the U.S. U-23 Women's National Team roster following an eight-day training camp in Portland, Ore. The Marquette University men's and women's soccer programs will be hosting its second annual Soccer Mom Camp beginning with a celebration May 9 at Valley Fields. Women can register to participate in the one-night event or the four-day camp, which includes a weekly skills clinic that also meets May 16, 23 and 30.
